Built to Bend

Made of engineered thermoplastic and low-conductivity stainless steel, Technoform's new Spacer M features a hybrid composition that allows it to be bent cold. The product is available with wire for high-profile rigidity suited to medium to large frames, or with no wire, for flexibility that's suited to radius shapes and bent frames.

Both versions have a no-glare, smooth matte finish in a choice of colors and sizes.

When Space is Limited

For jobsites that might be challenged by tight spaces or corridors, Crystal Window and Door Systems' new Series CVP-1100 Knock-Down (KD) Vinyl Sliding Patio Door comes in standard 5- and 6-foot sizes. The series features welded-corner, factory-glazed, fully reversible sash panels and a mechanically fastened 4-inch frame that's ready for job-site assembly. Made in extruded white vinyl, the door is designed to provide easy handling, transport, storage, stocking, and installation, making it a viable solution for dealers and distributors with limited warehouse space.

Completing the Trend

Two years ago, PGT Custom Windows + Doors debuted black exterior frames on all-vinyl products. This year, officials say the company moved to the next evolution of this trend via Modern Edge, all-black interior and exterior frames. Offered as a new alternative to traditional white and other muted shades, the company says its black interior frames provide endless style opportunities. The look is available on select PGT aluminum products, including single-hung windows, sliding glass doors and French doors, and are being offered on select vinyl products.

All-in-One Machining

Oz Machine's Garnet XS4 CNC Controlled Profile Machining Center is designed to produce all-in-one milling, drain channel opening, punching, marking and end milling on aluminum and PVC profiles. The four-axis center processes different sizes and with automatic clamp positioning automates tasks to make things easy. The unit automatically lubricates transmission elements and features a 5-kW spindle motor with automatic tool replacement. A built-in magazine has the capacity for eight tools, saving the time it would normally take to switch between applications.

Aluminum with a Copper Look

Linetec's Bordeaux Anodize finish is designed to provide a rich burgundy tone for architectural aluminum products, in both exterior and interior applications. Created using organic tin and copper metals in the anodizing process, the finish can be applied to doors, windows, mullions, panning and decorative accents.

Officials say the company's exclusive, eco-friendly finish allows virgin and recycled aluminum to present the look of real copper, without salt run-off stains, galvanic corrosion and patination. The finish meets or exceeds all AAMA-611 Class I specifications and weathering tests, and is supported by a five-year warranty.

Officials say the unit offers a wide range of customizable options and can be tailored to specific needs.
