GlassBuild America 2016, which runs at the Las Vegas Convention Center October 19-21, promises to be another big showcase for the door and window industry. You might not be able to visit every booth, so DWM is highlighting some of the must-see products at the show.

DOORS

LaCantina in Control – Booth 1068

LaCantina Doors will roll out its aluminum thermally controlled system for the company's folding, multislide and swing doors.

The system features a narrow 2 15/16-inch stile and rail profile for more glass and light.

LaCantina's proprietary core and fascia design allows for a split finish option for both the interior and exterior frame and door panels. The company says this allows the interior color/ finish to be a different color than the exterior for design flexibility.

The aluminum thermally controlled folding system's maximum panel size is 10 feet tall by 39 inches wide and is available in configurations up to 20 panels spanning a 65-footwide opening.

Applications include a zero post corner, door/window combination and a pass-through window.

The system is also used in the company's impact-rated doors, which passed the stringent Miami-Dade County impact-testing protocols and achieved a DP 70 rating.
